The rules of using thinkpool: what you can do, what we owe you, and what we don’t. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
thinkpool is a room where one developer, or two people sharing control, direct coding agents run through a bridge on the host machine. The room is live while the bridge is connected and remains readable afterward as a terminal record. The service runs at thinkpool.io and is built and operated by Thinkpool, UAB, a private limited company registered in the Republic of Lithuania.
thinkpool runs on a supported runtime installed on the bridge machine. Claude Code uses the host’s Anthropic login by default, or a registered Anthropic-compatible provider. Codex uses the host’s Codex/OpenAI login; custom bridge providers are not wired to Codex. Hermes Agent uses an isolated thinkpool ACP profile. A custom Claude provider key is encrypted in your browser to that bridge’s public key before it is transmitted; the encrypted envelope passes through our infrastructure on its way to your bridge. The key is never stored by, nor accessible to, thinkpool, and we cannot decrypt it. The agent calls its provider directly from your machine. You pay the runtime’s provider directly for usage; thinkpool does not meter or resell AI usage.
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure, for all activity under your account, and for who you invite into a room: anyone with the room link can read and steer its contents. The coding runtime acts on your repository based on your instructions and contacts its provider from your own machine. By using the service you acknowledge that agent output, including code, commands, and explanations, may be inaccurate or incomplete, does not constitute professional advice, and should not be relied on alone for decisions that matter. We are not responsible for the content of agent output, and the runtime provider’s own usage policies also apply.
thinkpool has a free tier (one active hosted room and up to 3 active dispatched worker lanes per room, no card required) and a paid Plus tier (€5/mo flat, no hosted-room count cap, up to 6 active dispatched worker lanes per room, no annual plan, no student rate), billed via Stripe. Parent terminals do not use the worker allowance. Every parent and worker terminal shares a 12-live-lane safety ceiling on the bridge machine. New Dispatch work queues while the host is full or under memory pressure, then starts when capacity returns. If pricing changes, we will announce it by email and on this page at least 30 days before any new charge applies.
The thinkpool name, wordmark, and the source code of the service are proprietary to Thinkpool, UAB. You own the messages, code changes, and exports you create in your sessions: thinkpool does not claim ownership of your content and we will never train AI models on it. To run the service, you grant thinkpool a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, display, process, and transmit your session and terminal records only as needed to deliver the features you’ve asked for; that licence ends when you delete the content or close your account.
A custom Claude provider key is encrypted in your browser to your bridge’s own public key before it leaves the page. The encrypted envelope passes over our transport on its way to your bridge; the private key that opens it exists only on the machine running that bridge. The key is never stored by, nor accessible to, thinkpool. We have no ability to read, retain, or act on it. You are responsible for credentials and costs associated with the runtime you choose; monitor usage and set spending limits with its provider directly.
We aim to keep thinkpool available continuously but do not guarantee uninterrupted access; the service may be unavailable due to maintenance or infrastructure outages. thinkpool is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the preceding 12 months. Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
You may close your account any time from Settings → Danger zone. We may suspend or terminate your account immediately for violations of the acceptable-use rules. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of its competent courts. EU consumers may also have rights under the consumer-protection laws of their country of residence.
